Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is a forthcoming romantic comedy filmwritten and directed by debutant Shakun Batra. The film, produced by KaranJohar under his banner of Dharma Productions, stars Imran Khan and KareenaKapoor in their first film together. Actors Ram Kapoor, Boman Irani and RatnaPathak Shah will be seen in supporting roles. Originally slated to released onOctober 7, 2011,[3] the film will now release on February 10, 2012.

Afer several hiccups, the journey of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine has finally taken off. Excited and nervous Kareena Kapoor shared her excitement on Day 1 of the shoot. Seen in a video posted by UTV Kareena Kapoor says, "Welcome it's day one of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. As you all know, I'm part of this movie now. I'm obviously nervous and super-excited. This would be a milestone in my career and I aim to make it my career best performance, with Madhur Bhandarkar's help and your love and support."
Kareena also promises to upload more stuff about the film. "We will keep updating more stuff on Twitter and more pics, pretty ones and I will keep talking to you on this website."
Now that the jinx seems to be over, Madhur Bhandarkar is also excited about the movie. "She (Kareena) is a great star. We have always talked about working together and even discussed a lot of films but nothing materialized. But Heroine is a great script and a great story. I am sure it will be a landmark cinema in Kareena's career," Bhandarkar told IANS at the red carpet of Airtel Super Star Awards.
"Heroine is basically a journey in a heroine's life in the contemporary world. It's going to portray how an actress reaches the top and how her life goes through ups and downs. There are lot of catharsis and traumas shown in the film," Bhandarkar adds.
Arjun Rampal would play lead in the film opposite Kareena Kapoor.
The British Eastern Eye Newspaper and social networking sites weekly conducted a survey found out that Kareena Kapoor tops the list of Sexiest Asian Woman for the year 2011.
As early Kartina Kaif voted continues last three year for this position. But this year she slipped into second place, losing out to Kareena Kapoor by a narrow margin of just 1 percent votes.
Kareena Kapoor get this achievements in the last 12 months, in this months previous Diwali (2010) film Golmaal 3 to this Diwali (2011) Ra-1 became her fourth film to hit triple figures at the Box Office.

Ra.One which is one of the most awaited movie of year 2011 finally premiered at the Cineworld at London’s O2 Arena in Greenwich in a glittering event. Shahrukh Khan came in wearing tuxedo, while Kareena Kapoor looked absolutely fabulous and beautiful in strapless black floor length dress. Also along Shahrukh and Kareena, Arjun Rampal was also present at the premiere event. Arjun Rampal plays the villainous character of “Ra.One”.
Already Ra.One is the most expensive movie in bollywood till date and also it will open in 5,000 screens all over the world on the eve of Diwali festival.
Shah Rukh Khan’s ambitious film ‘RA.One’ has all the ingredients of a blockbuster film. Thrilling action sequences, mind blowing special effects, foot tapping numbers and SRK romancing Kareena Kapoor. But yet, inspite of all this, ‘RA.One’ falls short somewhere.
In the garb of a futuristic film which boasts of mind blowing special effects, the story remains the same old one and in fact is a mixture of some world class sci-fi films. So in the entire film, one can find traces of ‘Terminator’, ‘Biccentinial Man’, ‘Matrix’ and amusingly, our very own ‘Robot’.
The plot is pretty simple. On the behest of his son Prateik (Armaan Verma), Shekhar Subramaniam (Shah Rukh Khan), the geeky gaming expert creates an anti hero who is invincible. Hell breaks lose when the anti hero RA.One (Arjun Rampal) manages to come out of the virtual world and enter the real world. And to protect the mayhem that ensues, G.One (SRK again) comes to protect the world.
The clashes between the hero and the antagonist work well. Due to his uncanny similarity to Shekhar who is now dead, Sonia (Kareena Kapoor), his widow finds herself warming up to G.One. Infact, G.One the robot also develops an emotional and protective bond for Sonia and her son.
The film has its moments but they are far and few in between. Some of the scenes are surely entertaining but when one goes to watch a SRK film, one hopes to be entertained throughout, and sadly ‘RA.One’ fails to do so.
Music by Vishal Shekhar is splendid. But songs appear out of no where and for no reason as such. The high point is surely the AKON number-‘Chammak Challo’. Director Anubhav SInha falters mainly due to a hollow script. It fails to leave an impact of any kind.
For SRK fans, it is a film which has the superstar in a new avatar. Of that of an action star. But somehow, SRK’s loverboy acts surpasses his action hero image any day. Watch it for the special effects and for ‘Chammak Challo’. Don’t expect it to woo you the way other SRK films do, because it isn’t the same.
