Tiger Woods has told his family, friends and fans that he is "deeply sorry" for his selfish and irresponsible behavior.
"I had affairs. I cheated," Woods said
"I ask you to find room in your heart to one day believe in me again," Woods said at the conclusion of his statement.
The world's No. 1 golfer had not talked in public since his traffic accident November 27 triggered shocking revelations about Woods' infidelity.
"I do plan to return to golf one day, I don't know when that day will be, he said."
