In 1955, Karl Lagerfeld entered the Internation Wool Secretariat fashion design competition, where he competed against Yves Saint Laurent for first place. In the end, Saint Laurent won, and Lagerfeld took home second place, with the beautiful camel coat you can see on the video. One thing is for sure, these young men probably didn't know how much of an impact they were going to have on the fashion world!
1955-ben, az akkor 21 éves Karl Lagerfeld jelentkezett az International Wool Secretariat divattervező versenyre, ahol Yves Saint Laurenttel küzdött meg az 1. helyért. Végül Saint Laurent nyert, Lagerfeld csak 2. lett a videón látható gyönyörű teve kabáttal amit természetesen ő alkotott. Egy biztos, akkor még nem is sejthették, hogy egyszer majd mekkora befolyással lesznek a divatszakmára!
