Mariah Carey celebrated the upcoming birth of her twins by living it up at a baby shower in Beverly Hills. Apparently a restaurant at the Montage Hotel was "transformed into a blue and pink wonderland" for the singer, since much to my dismay she's having both a boy and a girl. The event was adults only, which is nice to hear; no child should be subjected to hanging out with Mariah Carey for an afternoon, which doesn't bode well for the two she's about to birth. It's also reported that at the shower there was plenty of champagne flowing, which hopefully made it tolerable for the guests. Mariah reportedly got tons of gifts, including two almost life-sized stuffed giraffes. Great, I'm sure that household has a huge lack of stuffed animals. Whatever, all in all the hefty mom-to-be had a great time and it was exactly what she needed. A source said that Mariah "has been feeling a bit tired and worn out lately," which explains her appearance.
