In this fandom of the weird and wonderful, it's not hard sometimes to be completely and utterly baffled, about the reasons why some believe in one direction and some believe in an other.
I'm talking about those who 'think' that what they see is 'not real' yeah, i believe there are a lot out there who have sinister apparitions from ghosts of Christmas past - BAH HUMBUG!
When are some fans actually get over themselves and stop this persistent 'they're too young, they don't know what real love is all about!' How can you say that they will last, Kristen is far too young, Rob is far to good looking to be tied down to just one girl'

It amazes me how some can argue that Rob and Kristen are too young to know what it's like to be in love...that sites like mine and others, are just places sappy people come to look at the pretty and fantasize about their 'happily ever afters' when they claim it's not the case and give Rob and Kristen a few more years and they will decide that they're too young and too inexperienced to know anything about life?
I find personally some people's ideas and invested thoughts into what is right and wrong highly amusing. Of course they could say 'well Tempest, pot calling kettle black and all that?' Actually no, i speak from the heart, i relay my thoughts and findings. I look beyond the realm of jealousy, because i harbour a crush or a fancy towards a particular male? He's good looking, charming, polite, genetically appealing - but no...i don't have a hidden agenda or crush. I like Robert Pattinson; he is a very handsome young man and he has grown up well from a pretty shy and unassuming young actor, thrust into the world simply because he began playing a much loved vampire.

He appeals to a wide audience of women who find his charm, wit and sense of humour very disarming, so why can't a small fraction of women accept the fact he is happiest in his life when he has the things he loves around him? I was listening to the radio today at work, when i heard a song i have not heard in some time and it made me think of the lyrics and how they seemed to fit into my thoughts for the day, especially when i get posts arguing my point and how my blog is just like all those other 'overly romantic blogs, romanticising over the fact that 'Rob is happy with Kristen' but in their eyes it won't last!' Because they are so sure of the actors life and they know that give them a couple of years, because they are so young...they will eventually get bored and move on...
Love is one of those things that is undefinable; you can't lay claim to know anything or everything about the emotion, because it means different things to different people. But the kind of love you find in one person you want to spend your life with, share everything with them; your ups and downs, your highs and lows, your worries and your concerns, about the little things and the most important things that make you human...that make you who you are. So what if fans want to share that experience, or can see that when they watch a video or an interview where a man looks adoringly at the woman sitting beside him. That they share several special moments with the outside world; a tiny glimpse into who they are and why they enjoy spending whatever time they have together. Some can see beyond the name and the flashing lights, go way beyond the whole 'fame and fortune' that Hollywood shows in blinding flashing lights. That deep down inside they are being allowed to capture a moment that is sacred, that is hidden because it will be tainted by hate from those who won't accept the fact, that one male and one female want to be together, and it's nothing to do with what it's going to do for their careers if they do.

I write posts full of hope and inspiration; i write what i see and what i see is two people in love, trying to make their way in the world the best they can. Their lives are constantly in the spotlight, they don't get the chance to step outside their door and be allowed to go about their business unnoticed. Some would argue 'well they signed up for this, they're actors and just have to live with it.' Yes to a certain point that's very true, but they like anyone else should be allowed to have a little bit of theirs, to protect what is their own and to keep it protected because it's a part of them they have left that is not tainted by the outside world or outside influence. Kristen made the statement very clear in 2009; when she mentioned 'keep what was private and owning it' she knows the more you give the more people want because they are greedy SOB's and won't let anything go to waste, which is why so many assumed that by not denying they were together and not confessing to the fact - they were indeed living a lie.
So here is my advice to those that disapprove of this fandom; who feel that 'we' are a bunch of 'frigid women' sitting around and pouring all our hopes and dreams into two people who 'are very young and don't know anything about being in love' *rolls eyes* Invest more in your own relationships and quit quibbling and arguing over a relationship that has very little basis in your life in the Real World.
Speaking of investing in people's lives. Seems the TCA's didn't disappoint the teenage demographic last night and the awards (surfboards) were handed out to the winners of the night. Kristen obvious could not be there due to her SWATH commitments but Rob and a handful of the Twilight cast were.

I heard cries of frustration when i logged on this morning; 'It's not fair he didn't win this, he didn't win that. Kristen won nothing and WTF is this about Harry Potter?' and that was just one of the cleaner, less bitchy emails i received because Rob picked up Choice Actor in a Drama for 'Water for Elephants' *claps hands loudly* and Choice Vampire for 'Twilight' *another resounding round of applause*

But of course the claws came out, the bitchy was loud and very clear - no Kiss for Rob and Kristen - Dan and Emma won it for Harry Potter. No Movie choice it went to Harry Potter...Actress went to Emma Watson and actor...Taylor Lautner...picking up several awards. Look, *sigh* as much as some believe it's 'fists at dawn' between the two book franchises - please grow the fuck up. The only people who find the need to fist pump and give the bird to the opposite side are stupid little fans with silly narrowed minds who think Twilight's loss is Potter's gain and vice versa!

The night was a tween-fest of massive proportions; various teen stars took to the stage, old hats collected awards and bromances seemed the theme of the night. That and it was adorable to see Rob with his previous cast members Tom Felton and Rupert Grint; who seems to have found a spell to make him look younger - the elixir of life as it where, because every time i see him, I'm convinced he's getting younger.

What a difference a few years make LOL Yes back in the GOF era; when Rob was a lowly cast member of the Potter franchise, he made some really good friends from those he worked with. Friends who still see him to this day as if nothing has changed, mainly due to the fact that Rob hasn't changed one bit, but then again neither have they. I find it lovely to see him catching up with old acquaintances who in their own right won a few boards for the success of Harry Potter which is now drawing to a close. So any hostility as far as i am concerned come from those too childish to accept that either movie deserved the accolades no matter who or what it was for.

It's not as if he has another movie lined up waiting for him, he has fulfilled his TCA commitments, so will we see him hot-tailing and joining Kristen in London - as if there was never any doubt of his intentions to go home and enjoy some well deserved time off?
I know some 'haters' would like to think LA will hold him in it's grasp and make excuses as to why he's still here say a week from now? Of course it's those with the same 'stupidly insane' thoughts as they gloat and cheer at seeing Rob sitting beside Nikki Reed. Most will know my love for all things false and fake, unfortunately it also extends it hand out to those who are 'desperate enough' to publicise anything about their lives, private or otherwise. So Rob sat beside Nikki and what? Send in the clowns, shut down the show and quickly call Kristen, because OMG - Rob is sitting with Nikki Reed his ex-girlfriend!!' Yeah i know, you wouldn't believe the crap that filled up people's twitter accounts quicker than snow. Nikki was...an...ex...of...Rob's - since when? Oh you mean the hook up that slithered it's way through the twilight fandom when people believed anything that came out of the mouths/posts of those that didn't know anything. Mostly not helped, because some 'people' in this world can't go a single day without drawing attention to themselves. I know, i know but you would be surprised the questions i get asked, about how i can write that Rob is purer than the driven snow, that he didn't hook up with anyone and get his 'kicks' from those willing to give it to him before Kristen Stewart?
Do i sound like Rob's keeper? Am i trying to take over from his mother? No i am not. BUT what i do know is fairly simple - common sense. I'm not some insider who tends to get their hooks into unsuspecting people willing to listen to them - whether their words are true or not. I have never professed to know Rob or even Kristen personally, but i am a pretty good judge of character and have spent a lifetime really understanding the human mind and the little idiosyncrasies of human behaviour through action and words. So, if someone suggests they believe in commitment and
do not believe in hook ups or emotionless impersonal relationships just for sex, then why should i doubt a word this person says? Especially when this person has never given any reason or any indication that they are the type of person, some presume they are? Surely fans of Robert (respectful ones) would understand his honesty and his values in life, to accept him for who he is and understand that he is not flighty with his emotions. That when he is with that one person they have his complete and utter adoration and attention.
So when people suggest that Rob Pattinson randomly hooked up with co stars when he was making Twilight. Yet for several years now, has remained committed and completely happy AND faithful with the one person who fills his life with contentment, i just laugh and find their demands completely hilarious. Yeah, because he is such a famewhore and such a manwhore; who walks all over Kristen and lies blatantly behind her back!
All. The. Time.
Keep telling yourselves that if it makes you sleep a little better at night!
