Rob and Kristen - Every little thing just turns me on...

*Cineplex Interview with Rob and Kristen; with special thanks for RobStenation for loading it up lightening fast xx*

Many years ago, I stumbled across a collection of books; books some of my online US friends kept insisting I should read, considering they knew of my love for all things Vampire genre, considering i had been a massive cult fan of Joss Whedon and his 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' story which led me to Angel, which led me to watching just 'Angel' I had been one of those people who just loved the whole iconic love story of mortal V'S Immortal and what happens when a vampire falls in love? I wasn't the other type who loved the whole blood fest that you get from story lines - 'Lost Boys' with Keifer Sutherland was really as far as I would go (bit of a wuss when it comes to blood and violence) but BTVS was a must for me and that fuelled my love for vampires and there need to find someone to love them...strange and cookie but that's how my mind works.

These books brought to me a story of this ideal vampire, this mortal lonely lost soul (depending on what way you look at it) who falls in love with a human girl (thoughts of the slayer and Angel ring around inside my head) not to mention any supernatural books out there containing vampire and human love...which led me then be told the books were being made into movies...which led me to think 'oh no, this will never work' which then led me to be told (quite excitedly i might add) by one of my online buddies who was also a avid Harry Potter fan...that Robert Pattinson has just been cast as the vampire - Edward Cullen...eep!!
Edward Cullen and Bella Swan...
This brought me to today and my constant following of the books and the movies but with Robert it brought Kristen; a girl he had seen in a movie and as soon as her name was mentioned he hopped on a red eye flight to LA, slept on his US agent's couch and turned up the next day for an audition...and the rest they say is history.

Or was it?

This unlikely duo of a sometimes known British actor; who had struggled to gain any kind of reputation with the small roles he had marginally got and a US indie actress who had worked stealthily through various roles and projects; making a small but honest reputation for herself - was the beginning of a wonderfully successful partnership both on and off the screen...the on bit some can accept the off...not so much.
Comic Con 2008 - let the flirtation begin...
This friendship, this relationship was the beginning of something wonderful. The connection between the two actors proved to be the pinnacle of the success the movie was being based on. The Summit execs couldn't be happier, the director was jumping for joy - the sexual chemistry was never faked - Rob and Kristen had a connection beyond friendship, beyond acting...it was there and it was raw and it was kept hidden...locked away, buried under so much scrutiny and speculation. Kristen was said to be in a relationship and Rob was single but that didn't stop him from letting everyone who would ask him know what he thought about his co star and best friend - oh no.

What started out as one movie developed for him into something more; Kristen was everything in a woman he liked. She had an incredible wit about her, a strength of force for such an unassuming small frame. A gentle touching side that would come out when she felt emotional and deeply connected to something and a fierce tigress when provoked in anger or resentment. But most of all, she was incredibly talented and very focused and passionate about her work - he found in her a kindred spirit and she found in him something similar. Both like minded where he would be goofy and unpredictable, Kristen is focused and straight, they complemented each other because of their opposites and at the same time understood what the other was saying without words.
All is calm in their world...
They have battled gossip, outside interference, misjudgement and misguided friendships, yet through it all they have remained a strong united front. They battle hatred from a small group of narrow-minded individuals who see fit to try and make up stories that are simply not true. Kristen bears the brunt of jealous women who believe Rob Pattinson should belong to them and not to his co-star, a woman that holds him in the palm of her hand because, Kristen is simply the power to his weakness. He has said more often than not, how he identifies with his character Edward; how the immortal is not the strong one but weak and in the presence of the girl, she holds the key to his existence - Rob feels that way too, that in Kristen he finds his strength because she believes in him and always has done. With her he stands taller, is more sure of what he wants in life. With Kristen he has found not only a friend but someone who can share his life with, someone who is always there even when they are miles apart...someone to come home to when he needs that connection of deep emotional love.

Comic Con 2008; started it all for me. I saw in those brief glimpses, the flirtatious looks and flushed faces of two young people struggling to hide something deeply personal from the world. I saw Robert Pattinson flirt and banter with his co-star - drowning out everyone until there was only her...his attention very rarely went anywhere else. They mirrored each other perfectly and displayed body language that most definitely spoke of attraction, even when apparently there was not meant to be any.

Comic Con 2009; showed them trying to hide a lot of what people had began to realise - that they were in a relationship and wanted to keep it hidden and separate from their work. They looked apprehensive and slightly anxious as they tried to keep their connection hidden as much as possible. The eyes of the world where already on to them, anxious for any small morsel of confirmation, something they were not willing to divulge...yet. They say actions speak louder than words and if you try and hide how much you are attracted to a person or indeed hide a relationship from the eyes of the world, you over compensate and end up showing a lot more. That's what Rob and Kristen did, in trying to not show anything, they in fact showed all that there was to know...they were together.

Comic Con 2011...
Here we are...face to face...
Both have come a long way, both have matured and grown, both have finally found balance. I have only began to watch the CC videos, it's going to take me some time to go through everything RL and all that. But what i can say from what i have seen...both are happier than they have ever been. Content in their life style choices, work commitments and of course in being 'just the two of them up against the rest of the world.'

Many of us have been keep front row admirers as they have both developed and grown through two and a half years, literally being the only two people in the relationship together - possibly more but who is counting? We have watched them dodge relationship question after relationship question because that is not who they are. They will not sell their story to anyone, it's not something that will ever be for sale no matter how much is thrown their way...it's theirs and that is that. They are fiercely protective of their personal life but allow small glimpses into who they are and what they are like around everyone else. For me; Twilight was very much a personal story for Rob and Kristen. It began when they met at that legendary audition that Catherine Hardwicke continues to grip the nation with when she tells the story, right up to present day - Breaking Dawn one and two is in the centre of their universe now...the final bit, the walk towards destination unknown.
Some things have never changed...

Rob and Kristen in 2008; where very much there to promote their first movie together - the reputation of the books was very intimidating for both of them and a lot was riding on the success of their movie to enable the rest of the books to be made into subsequent movies. Both were very eager to make sure that the audience got the feel of the characters they were playing; characters that were passionately loved by the audience who camped out to see them at Comic Con. What the audience got was a very obvious connection between the two actors and that made it doubly sweet - twilight fans not only got Edward and Bella, they also got Rob and Kristen. Between 2009 and now 2011...a lot has changed in both of them. Kristen at this years CC just blossomed and bloomed with pride and happiness. Usually a nervous wreck at these public events - Kristen took everything in her stride and seemed to enjoy every moment of it. Laughing and teasing Rob, what was good to see was finally, after being separated at last years event by Taylor being put in the middle...Rob and Kristen sat side by side, shoulder to shoulder and played off each other during the press conference and panel events.
I've put a spell on you...
Kristen was literally giggling and exuded complete happiness and Rob was beaming from ear to ear with pride as she spoke. The love i have seen in his eyes since well...forever, was very much present as they spoke of shooting the honeymoon and how it felt, of the process of becoming parents (in the movie) and how he embarrassingly for a guy loves babies. All the while, every single time Kristen had to answer a question, his eyes remained focused on her at all times, smiling slyly and beaming at all her remarks...as smitten as the day he met her.
Whispering softly in your ear...
They both chatted quietly to one and other and generally spent the whole time smiling at one each other regardless of who was watching. Kristen poked him a few times and laughed hysterically and sometimes with embarrassment at his comments but acted the whole time, completely and utterly in love - pride radiating out of her beautiful face and boy, Kristen was stunningly beautiful. To say love suits her is an understatement. When you are in love you simply glow with it, everything feels right in the world, you believe you can conquer everything when you feel completely connected with someone.
Kristen and Rob playfully teasing...
Even when it came to doing the panel questions, Rob's main focus was Kristen and Kristen couldn't have been more open and generous with the audience as she tried to relay her thoughts and feelings of how she felt during the making of both parts of Breaking Dawn, even in the two clips director Bill Condon showed to the audience, the emotional connection between Rob and Kristen had undoubtedly spilled over into their characters.
I don't know why but i just love this photo...
Rob is happiest when he's around Kristen that much is true. You can tell they have a wonderful relationship because they don't let the outside world in, to damage or taint it. That's one of the reasons why i love that they don't sell anything, their privacy is so very important to them and the fans or should i say those who believe they are fans should respect that above everything.

Together they are happy, they have outstanding careers, the best is yet to come. They have a private life that keeps them grounded and secure, knowing they are together in everything no matter what, and they have a dog whom they both equally adore and is loved by both in equal amounts.
AWWW...
Finally;

There has been so much i have said about these two wonderful people. I have been blessed to meet so many like me who believe in old fashioned love; how two people have found each other in a business that so few can actually make it without falling into the trap of fame and the fast track to unhappiness. Rob and Kristen have shown without any words, just how much they are deeply in love they are.

The four best quality Comic Con videos i have found on RobStenation - enjoy!
Comic Con 2011

The video at the beginning of my post is one of the funniest and cutest interviews done with Rob and Kristen finally together since 2009, i hope we will see more of these hysterically funny and also very insightful interviews to come.
The way he looks at Kristen she's the centre of his world...
