Rob and Kristen - In Your Eyes...

Rob: "I barely knew that they even were books. I just kinda thought It's a Catherine Hardwicke's movie with Kristen. I'd just seen Into the Wild, and that's why i went to the audition."

TS: "And you had a little crush on Kristen. And still do a little bit?"

Rob: "Yeah, obviously."

I've absolutely love this interview that was done for the Today's Show in NYC during the promotional obligations for Twilight. On a cold November morning in 2008; Rob and Kristen graced the studios and did a very interesting interview. Short of blatantly throwing Kristen over his shoulder like a caveman and storming out of the studio, Rob let it be known that he 'obviously had a crush on Ms Stewart.'

So...it's with this i start my post today...speaking about the very person that has been right in front of Rob's eyes from the very beginning.

Rob casual while shopping...

BUT - first of; there seems to be a panic in the air, you can almost smell it, it's that potent. The smell of course is BS, as it floats along the breeze at the latest photos of Rob (dear casual Rob) out doing a bit of grocery shopping with his school pal Sam Bradley, who is currently recording (according to his tweets) in Los Angeles. All dressed in head to toe Adidas and carrying brown paper bags full of shopping; you would mistake him for any other young man, gathering food for the masses. The empty cupboards and home as he forages along the microwave meal aisle looking for substance, missing the home cooked meals his loved one lovingly makes for him.

Of course this has led to the bat-shits stirring crap as they make suggestions that 'Oh Rob's not in London protecting his girlfriend from the riots. What sort of relationship is that?'

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Some people need to chill the heck up and stop jumping to conclusions every single time Rob and Kristen don't play ball the way they want them to. So he's still in LA, so what? He doesn't have to go running off to Kristen because of what's happening in the UK, I'm sure he is more than up to date with what is happening and will know Kristen is safe where she is, not to mention his own family who still live there. Fans need to take a step back at times and re-evaluate their reasons for being fans and not panicky stalkers.

As for the lovely gifs at the beginning of the post...

I kind of love the early days of Twilight, when Rob was like an open book - literally, his emotions where written all over his face. In the infancy of Twilight; when promoting the movie was at it's highest, when both actors balanced their careers precariously on one movie - Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were blatantly oblivious to the speculation surrounding their 'relationship.' Sure, they would have been told that a then small group of people 'dreamed' a romance would blossom from the book franchise - much like the characters that were written between the pages. Definitely, Rob was very obvious when asked about his relationship with Kristen; his admiration he spoke of at every opportunity, while he blushed and gushed of his 'crush' for the 18 year old co-star.

His eyes always betrayed his attraction for Kristen, often straying to look at her, even when posing for photographs.

Los Angeles Premiere - 2008...

There was an unmistakable connection between them as they stood as a united front; all beaming smiles to the throng of cameras flashing in front alongside screaming fans, yet they still made eye contact, their smiles mirroring each other's happiness.

Kristen glowed beside Rob and he stood there proud to be with her. In the early days early days, they seemed so innocent, yet so tempting in the way they moved/danced around each other. It was obvious of Rob's attraction towards Kristen; his tenderness and adoration as he spoke of her, frankly and honestly. How Kristen tried not to let his words affect her, let his eyes stare into hers and how he made her feel. Of course now it's different, walls have been put up to protect what they have, but he intensity is still there, in his eyes.

Los Angeles Premiere - Eclipse 2010...

He has become more guarded of his personal life, more private when it comes to speaking about his bond with Kristen. Rob has accepted that many want to know everything there is to know about him, but that doesn't mean he has to give it all away. Private moments are cherished; he tries not to say too much to interviewers who live of confessions, because it sells that image, that relationship. They have however, slowly realised that Kristen and Rob will NOT sell their relationship, no matter the price of fame.

His love however...is still there, still evident...

He may no longer confess to having a 'crush' on Kristen anymore while she rolls her eyes and tries to nervously dismiss his open challenge of affection. But the love, respect, honesty and attraction is there whenever he looks at her, whenever she smiles at him, whenever they are together during some public circumstances...it's there deep within his eyes.
