This is the day that if any Kristen haters (you would be a fool to be) decide to read this post; either pin back your ears and learn a thing or two, or skip it all together, because I'm not going to go easy on you...any of you!!

What can i say - Kristen is a f*cking sex kitten - end of story!
Her cover of 'W' alone is worth panting about - lord help Rob when he claps his eyes on this one!

Not only that, but the interview to go with it, is just as go-get-'em-straight-shooting Kristen that i have grown to love over the years, since her petite alluring self exploded onto the scenes - albeit a little shyly as Bella Swan.

I am woman - hear me ROAR!!!!!

The girl is sex personified, but in a very tasteful decadent way. There are no hard edges when you look at Kristen Stewart; eyes heavily made up, hair quaffed and back-combed to within an inch of it's life. What you see is the type of imagery a very young Jane Fonda, displayed as Barbarella; sexy but in an innocent-kitten-type-of-sugar-and-spice-and-all-things-nice way.

Yes Kristen we know, we know LOL!

I'm waxing poetic about Kristen, because i get her, i really do. At 21; she has grown up in front of the camera, her very first role being 'Panic Room' when she was only 10 years old. Kristen has the experience and common sense of a veteran; who has learned the ropes as she grew up, surrounded by some of the 'old Hollywood elite.' Those, who were not afraid of making hard hitting statements in any of the movies they made. Those who did not want to act to get famous or earn bucket loads of cash, but did it because they felt passionate about what they were doing, and did it because of the challenge it presented them.

Stunned beyond words...

She has a shy and unassuming charm, that tends to melt people when they meet her. She is gusty and feisty and those that either meet her for the first time or have known her for a while, respect that about her. Rob Pattinson has often waxed overly poetic himself, about his co-star for three years now. How Kristen has a 'fierceness quality about her, how she can be intimidating. How she intimidated him from the very beginning, especially given her young age at the time'

Kristen is everything and much more!
When i first saw her in 'Panic Room' i was blown away by her acting, and i don't kid. After i got over the initial shock that it was a female rolling around on the scooter, as her 'character' mother walked through the extensive home she was about to purchase, learning the name of the kid with a short blond bob styled hair (still looking a lot like a tomboy and not a girl) Kristen even admits herself in the interview with 'W' how growing up a bit of a tomboy; has been something she embarrassingly admits to being, having grew up with brothers around her constantly.

The shy tomboy-like image, has seen Kristen slowly shake off through the course of her life. Movies were made that held a story, she wanted to sink her teeth into and tell. Intrigued after finding out years later (my kids had seen Zathura and Catch the Kid) that the same actress was cast as Bella Swan, for the first of the Twilight books being made into a movie. Of course, this was after i was squealed at in CAPS, after a conversation with a BFF of mine, that the guy who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter...was being cast as the teen immortal - vampire along side her. Interesting dynamic if you had asked me then, because i hadn't seen anything Robert had done since Potter (sue me, i am not a need-to-see-everything-he-has-ever-done fan) so i was interested in seeing what he would do with this beloved book character - knowing how 'invested the Potter fans were in making sure that cannon happened exactly how they envisioned it would'

Innocent beauty...

Did i worry about how they would get along?

Well...unlike some die-hard fans, i was slightly late to the whole 'frenzy' surrounding who was cast and when. I heard snippets of conversations and read a few interviews, regarding how they both met and was able to search a little for myself on Miss Stewart. Then I giggled, after a few disgruntled people suggested 'Rob and Kristen' looked pretty close...LOL.

You see, the bottom line is this.
Rob is quintessentially British. That means, his taste for the opposite sex would tend to be a little bit more 'fussy' a little bit more 'choosy' for want of a better description. Blonds seem to be the key favourite for the haters of Kristen; models a second guess, because to them, a buxom Hollywood starlet. A desirable half dressed glamour model, would have looked good on his arm. Or better still, someone like them; all dressed up, primped and pampered and plucked to within an inch of their 'young adolescent lives.' 

We saw the type of femme fatale that wants to 'get with Rob Pattinson' during the making of 'Remember Me.' All screaming and crying as soon as they saw him; short skirts, tight tops and yes, mostly blond, chased him through the cordoned off movie set.

Kristen Stewart (haters prick your ears up and adjust your hate filled spectacles) is not your typical 'Californian' gal. Nope she's the complete opposite. Most would label her a bit of a geek/plain Jane/normal - nothing special; for she is incredibly intelligent, witty and gives as good as she gets. She is very analytically minded and very astute, for someone who has spent the better part of her early life working in the movie industry. Ah, but that is where she has grown up. 

She is not by any mean stretch of the imagination, an air-head; head filled with dreams of being rich and famous, or hanging onto anyone who can hang her star straight in the sky. Or the type of person who would do 'just about anything to get attention' Kristen is hard working, determined, ballsy and downright defiant of her actions. She is not ashamed of anything she has ever done and is not embarrassed of doing anything wrong, because she hasn't - that much we all know. 

Sex kitten all grown up...

She has an honest quality that she expects from other people as well; a honed in bullshit detector allows her the freedom of knowing when someone is trying to 'get one over on her' even though at times, her benefit of the doubt with those close to her, has led Kristen assessing people's actions a little bit more (I'm sure most of you know who i am referring to?) It's that honesty she saw in Robert Pattinson right from the very beginning, saw the innocence in his eyes and his lack of real acting experience, that made her believe in him. That his connection with her from the audition was honest and truthful, giving and selfless.

Her belief in Rob and in the movie they were about to make, even at the tender age of just 17, has proven to be the driving force behind the success of the 'Twilight Saga' that i have no doubt in my mind. The very fact there was a palpable connection even so early on, led me to believe there was more than just formalities in getting acquainted as actors - and i was right :) Yeah i know, some will scoff loudly at my thoughts, but they are generally so filled with hate and jealous rage - because one little girl (yes they still call Kristen a girl) captured the attention of a male stud-muffin, they so want to stick their claws into. (literally)

 

At the very beginning...

From the very beginning, Kristen moulded herself into Bella Swan's skin and Rob into Edward's. And from that moment on, a hoard of female admirers wanted to know 'everything' about the unknown British actor and why, OH WHY did he have to drone on and on about his co-star? How much he admired her, appreciated her honesty, praised her acting; suggesting she was the 'best of her generation' and admitted to yes, even having a crush on her.

Those who didn't want to listen, could not see the writing on the wall even then. And still to this day, live in blissful ignorance, because it's easier to deal with than face the truth.

Yes, that whimsical look upon his face; the shy smile on his lips, as he casts his eyes down to the floor suggested otherwise. While Kristen continued to grown within her skin; grow with confidence and honesty in her work, so too did the friendship change, to what we can see pretty clearly today. A united front, a togetherness that needs no introduction, because it's just there.

Captured by her beauty...

Kristen has a beauty that needs no cosmetic enhancements to show it. Although, all that 'enhancement' really does is bring out the beauty that is already there, tucked under the surface. They say that inner beauty shines without and Kristen has an inner beauty and a truthfulness, that Rob would have seen from the very beginning. Yes, there is a legion of women out there, willing to capture his attention at a moments notice, but many see him as an actor with a massive fortune (he would most likely disagree) who would lavish them with expensive gifts, as they tell their life story to the nearest rag that will have it 'How i bed Edward Cullen.' 

Not one of them see Rob for who he really is; they are more concerned with his label and what he can do for them, than actually spending time with the real person - the real man, not the actor - faults, warts and all.

Shy girl next door...

Little want to know that when Rob turned up for the audition at Catherine Hardwicke's house. All nervous energy and failure possibly written all over his face as he prepared to meet the young girl who he had just watched in a movie called 'Into the Wild' appreciating her screen presence (typical male appreciation that is) this young girl saw him sitting own his own at the back of Catherine's house; deciding he needed a drink and proceeded, much to Catherine's amusement, to get them both some refreshments and she took them out to the deck and introduced herself, thus breaking the ice.

How that act of kindness, or mild curiosity, led to the friendship and unique loving bond they both have today.

 

Breaking Dawn - the end of an era...

Some would call it fate, others would see it as a coincidence, while others would just laugh and suggest 'we are imagining things.' Either way, meeting and working together for three years now, has in a lot of ways infused their relationship. That 'never-confirmed-but-obvious-relationship' they have. Never announced or confirmed, because really, what is there to announce?

Kristen and Rob's actions have always spoken louder than words. The way they look at each other, move around each other, know each other's thoughts incredibly well. Beyond friendship, beyond working partnership. Beyond anything fans could possibly ever imagine, and haters could possibly only dream up in their poisonous minds.

Kristen has grown up beautifully in everyone's eyes. With age has come wisdom, not that she didn't have it already. But she is more at peace with who she is now, still not completely okay with the attention that she has had to deal with and still does to a certain degree. But as she makes a comment in her 'W' interview, a lot of her life is out of her control, out of her hands. People will continue to either hate her or love her - that, Kristen is well aware of. Whether it's because she is successful and headstrong and not lying in the gutter, or coming out of nightclubs at all hours of the morning, like some her age. Or it's because she just so happens to be dating/living/loving the most sought after 25 year old on the face of the Twilight planet - who knows?

What i do know with all my heart, as i pour it over each moment in this blog, is that they are both happy, and that happiness shows.

I am a Kristen Stewart fan; because i love her acting style and the honest way she approaches her life. For someone so young and just starting out in life, she could take on anything and anyone and come the other side, still smiling.

I am a Robert Pattinson fan; because he has grown up so much in the years he has been allowed to stretch within the acting world. He has not changed one bit from the days he was famous for being the 'spare' in Harry Potter, and thus took his first death scene in his stride. I can see a lot of good things heading his way, and a lot of happiness in his life.

Perfect...

I love the two of them together; because they brought to life Edward and Bella and that in turn, brought a lot of their acting to attention, and how they simply knew how to play the tormented star crossed lovers in Stephenie Meyer's young adult books. 

Their personal life however, has been centre stage since 2008; whispered suggestions and nodding heads, yet deep down inside, many have agreed their 'coming together' has made two very famous book characters incredibly cherished and loved. Their lips will most likely never tell their story; Kristen has always been the diplomatic one, in making sure her private life remains private. And for his part, Rob believes in not selling any of his personal life, with anyone who doesn't need to know.

This is also why i love the two of them. Simply because they understand what is important in life 'family, relationships, friendships' and can separate personal from professional. They each bring to their acting, their craft, something uniquely special. And that's why as actors, as individuals, they are by most - respected. Their lips...will remain sealed, as a slight smirk to one another no matter where they are...says so much more.
