Those legs go on forever... |
Why do so called 'fans' need to know every single thing about these two young people? Can't they just accept that Rob and Kristen are normal human beings. They don't have horns or tails or three eyes, six legs and walk a funny way? They don't live in a Zoo, but some 'fans' might as well treat them that way, while they throw food into the cages and take photographs; gaping and glaring and pointing fingers. This constant obsession of 'needing to know all the facts' seems to be on an increase, usually around the time when both are doing different things; Rob's working, Kristen's not chained to his side, or Kristen's working and Rob's locked in her wardrobe - every single time. The feeding frenzy of 'where are they now?' As sharks move around in ever decreasing circles - watching their prey with hungry eyes.
It's called the summer of bullshit; we had it last year when Rob was working and Kristen was here, there and everywhere. We had it the year before that, when Rob was in NYC and Kristen was in LA working separately and the foam was extra thick during that time. So why would this summer be any different? It's when the kids are winding down for their summer vacation; schools are busting to kick them out and housewives are pulling their hair out, while they wait for their emo kids to crawl out from their dank and dark rooms long enough to be hosed down with a garden hose. That, and we have the Cougar set; who pawn and fawn and lick and stick anything Robert Pattinson related to their ample bosoms, while of course maintaining that they like him 'because he is such an interesting actor and they have a Mama Bear crush on him'
*shudder*
So yes, i have myself prepared for one more summer of bullshit and bitching; as once more the fake nails come out and the twitter accounts are set up 'See them here, See them there, See them frigging everywhere!'
I'm talking about those who want, need, plead and demand their 15 minutes of fame. Those that see it necessary to post, tweet, whisper and claim that they can make things happen. Some hugely fake, painted prima donna tweeted from her account that she's an extra on the set of Cosmopolis and in response to a question about making sure that Rob 'dumps the (crack whore) Kristen', came the reply 'Oh he will'
REALLY??
Everyone has a price to pay and every dog has it's day... |
BWAHAHAHAHA!
Believing that he will just drop everything and bow to the wishes of an extra and just 'give in' - forget Kristen and play a little, have a little...fun?
Give Me A Bloody Break!
Two things you will learn in life;
1. Fame hungry morons do actually exist.
2. Everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame (Andy Warhol)
It all boils down to little people needing attention and the more they can get attention, the happier their insipid little lives will be. Personally, i hope the vapid so called 'extra' has been reported to Rob's team and removed from the set, and any further work on the movie. To announce you're an extra in a movie is one thing, as long as you respect the wishes of the confidential agreement you sign, and not give out any information about the actors you are working with and their private lives. To then decide to bitch about an actors other half, hinting or suggesting that you can do something about it to a bunch of haters - more.fool.you.
And speaking about other half's...

This fills me with all kinds of happiness, because never let it be said that Kristen Stewart should not deserve any kind of recognition for the tireless work she puts into each and every role she has ever done - from Panic Room until today. The fact that On The Road was a book she had read a good few years back when there was talk of it being made into a movie, and stuck with it right through until the bitter end, because she wanted to get it made. Now she's getting her chance to prove to the world (not that she really needed to) what a serious actress she truly is. (there is more to Kristen than playing Bella Swan)
Kristen has been getting recognition for years and it's about time some wigs in the industry, actually sat up and took notice of her. She has such a diverse scope of movies; some more challenging than others, and i can't think of anyone like Kristen who simply pushes the boat out when it comes to tackling some of the more 'dramatic' story-lines - even when she was much younger. Cake Eaters and before that Speak, to name two others i have watched her flawless performances in.
Rob (let's not forget him) has slowly and surely gained interest in the roles he has chosen, and because of the success of Water for Elephants, it's my belief we will see him finally in more meatier roles. Other than simply playing the love sick hero, who is always the good guy and gets the lucky girl in the end. It will be interesting to see what he will bring to the role of Eric Packer in Cosmopolis; not your usual run of the mill character for him, hence the reason why he took it in the first place. Highly sexed (something for the ladies) who is a multi-billionaire asset manager. Who, through the course of the story drives around Manhattan in the back of a white stretch Limousine (when he's not having random sex with random women) LOL.
Something about a man in a suit, leaning against a limo... |
So there you have gals - you know what to do? Not that i had any doubt Rob would not be there; even with some of his ex-cast-mates; Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton from his Harry Potter days, most likely to be in attendance. Team Twilight against Team Potter are up for a few of the categories, and as much as i am a big fan of Harry Potter (bedtime reading with kids and movies faithfully watched at the cinema) i feel conflicted as to which one i want to win? Of course I'm a big Twilight fan, but i still have a soft spot for the bespectacled wizard and his fearless friends - the wizardly scooby gang! And you know how much i still mourn the death of darling Cedric Diggory...
