Yes, Miss Stewart arrived in London for the Glamour UK Woman of the Year Awards, in a gorgeous nude coloured Balmain mini dress and stunning heels to match. Why was she there? Why to present an award...the Man of the Year Award and it went to...
Garrett Hedlund of course.
Now wasn't that a coincidence LOL. Well, technically yes and no. You see, Kristen has some work lined up, you might have heard of it; Snow White and the Huntsmen? It's currently in Pre-Production mode with the start date according to; USA
Filming starts: The second week of August in London and Wales.
So you can imagine she didn't fly into the UK, just to attend some fancy awards function and then skip back home again. Garrett as most of you will be aware, is Kristen's co-star in On The Road. So to be there to present him this award, and be as delightfully nervous as she was - must have been an absolute giggle for both of them, they certainly looked genuinely happy about it. Oh I'm fully aware of the harpy hags; dragging a wonderful night and a lovely event with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kristen Wig to name but a few into the gutter, with their usual stupid fantasies of Kristen and Garrett and 'just how close are they?' crud. Their delusional insanity seems to develop, as soon as Kristen sticks one toe out of US soil and away from Rob, as he resumes shooting Cosmopolis.
Stupid is as stupid does...
She rocked the party in that knock-out dress; stood in front of a bunch of nosy-assed photographers and amazingly kept her heels on for most of the night (poor girl i bet her feet were killing her) As far as I'm aware and this is based on...oh, i don't know...intelligence! Kristen is very good friends with Garrett and Garrett admires the young women for her incredible acting skills. If you can see something else going on there, then you are delusional and imagining things. But hey, go for it - knock yourselves out! (No, seriously do it!)
GRIPE of the Day!
Despite some silly idiots who still insist that 'Kristen Stewart doesn't smile' I'm talking about Morning talk show host Lorraine Kelly; who also weighed in on the whole 'bless her i wish she could just smile' crap. I admire the woman i really do. She's a bubbly and delightful person to watch in the morning time; while you get yourself and the kids ready to head out, but for the love of god woman! Did you bother going up and talking to Kristen at the event. After all, you attended it as well?
Kristen does smile; sometimes it's slight, sometimes it's a full blown grin and sometimes it's a slight demure shy smile, but when you have several flashbulbs exploding in front of your face and are nervous around the press because they are rude, crude and socially undesirable - it's kind of hard to keep it on your face longer than a few seconds. Kristen is not one of those people that can stand, pose and grin at the drop of a hat - she's not a circus performer and is incredibly shy, so forgive me if i don't share in your reasons behind complaining that she 'didn't smile' and trash her for it?
She couldn't be faulted her on her dress, instead it was because her face didn't break out into a tap dance and then bow to a round of applause...
Give me a bloody break!

The media seems to be chasing it's tail lately with the 'Kiss snub' from Rob. Yeah i know, i know, but it seems that more UK trash mags have it in for Kristen and Rob; as they disclose that 'Kristen was hurt over Rob's snub at the MTV Awards, because he refused to kiss her.' Instead, he opted for a peck on the cheek, head and hand of his arch enemy in the movies and close friend, Taylor Lautner.
Oh yes, there's no letting up in the stupid hypocrisy; as more and more crawl out and give their version of what really went on during Sunday night's live televised show. How some can come to the conclusion that Kristen looked hurt, angry, upset, annoyed, frustrated, confused and heartbroken over Rob 'hamming it up' in front of the audience, because it's better than standing there and having people judge you when you do decide to kiss - just for the public applause.
'Ain't gonna happen'
Yeah...Kristen looks completely and utterly devastated with Rob when he ran back onto the stage and announced; 'I'm going to take you backstage' in a very suggestive tone! That did more for me than seeing him 'stage kiss' Taylor; with his arms flaying out like some cheesy dream sequence. Where a boy runs with his arms spread wide across a field towards a girl doing the same.
How about the wonderful comments Rob made when he was interviewed by the legend that is Josh Horowitz from MTV when asked about the impending Breaking Dawn Wedding, and what Kristen looked like?
So yeah...Rob is in Toronto and Kristen is in London, they say absence always makes the heart grow fonder. Kristen has some work related things to do and whether she is there one day or five, it doesn't really matter. She will be home soon enough and back in the arms of her 'Rob' yes her Rob and home. I kind of like the sound of that; 'home is where the heart is and Kristen's heart is with Rob'. Oh, and not forgetting their little four legged lovable pooch, because you know Bear is very much part of their lives and is missed when either are away from him. They have proven time and time again that; no matter where they are and what they are working at, they always come back together - always. They have taken this road together since they first met for Twilight; and they continue the same road today, and each and every day.
I was listening to a song on the way home that i haven't heard in a long time. The lyrics made me smile, because in some ways, the song is very reflective on how two people miss one and other while they are away from each other. How you can't settle and feel complete, until they're back with you - safe...
Hence I've based my little ramblings today on that very fact. As both Rob and Kristen are in different countries and different time zones missing each other - technology has become a wonderful thing. And i have every faith they communicate constantly with one and other - Every.Single.Day.
I cannot be,
You get that kind of feeling; when you love someone and they have to leave you, if only for a little while. You find yourself going through the motions of your day and throughout it all...you still miss that one person no matter what you do to try and not think about them. You see them in your memories, smell them in whatever clothing they have left behind. A moment shared between you can conjure up their face and you smile, and you miss them all over again. You're not happy until their key is heard in the door, and you feel their footfalls on your floor, because you know they have come home. That's when you feel complete, that's when you feel whole once more. That's when the time spent apart, no matter how little or how long they have been away...disappears into thin air. Because they are here...finally with you.
