Rob and Kristen - "Here comes the Bride..."

"All dressed in white..."

Well i much prefer Ivory, and i would assume it's not exactly startling, brilliant, blinding white if you get my drift? (Nit-picking Nanny here!)

SO...a teaser trailer was released by MTV, obviously promoting the fact that this Sunday 6th June (unless you have been living under a rock) is the MTV Movie Awards. As most of you know (who haven't been living under said rock!) the full trailer we have been promised will air during the main event and of course, introduced by none other than Rob, Kristen and Taylor. YES Pattinson fans all around the world rejoice (steady now) Rob has been confirmed to attend the awards (as if i had any doubts) and walk on stage with his two co-stars of the Twilight Saga; to a packed audience there and at home.

"Vampire and werewolf lovers everywhere can rejoice as MTV today announced that Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are confirmed to present viewers with the very first look at footage from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, during the 2011 MTV Movie Awards."

It seems as if they're trying to pull as many viewers of Twilight as possible, not that i can blame them. So much is anticipated for the first part of Breaking Dawn, which is due to come out in November, if you can excuse the stupid asses that leaked photographs of raw footage online...having the three main stars there was made common sense.
Delirious sigh of delight!!
First off Rob sorry, i mean Edward - gah! Doesn't he look absolutely handsome dressed in his finest Wedding attire? I know, i know, we have seen him in various forms of dress; from tee's and jeans to suits and ties. Even 19th century Parisian gentleman to 1930's linens and flat caps, he looks absolutely dashing - but this! It holds no words, because it's a combination of the final two instalments of a book series, that has captured every teenagers imagination - the perfect wedding, getting married to the perfect man. Of course this is Hollywood, and the Wedding of the century has to look absolutely flawless doesn't it? The story of how Edward and Bella came to be of course happened, when two actors met and started working together and now - four movies (the 5th and second part of the instalment will be after the event itself) later, they finally become 'husband and wife'

*Wipes happy tears away*

Okay...a bit cheesy i know even for me, but it's fair to say that this magical movie moment will have all of us young (or not so young) hopeful romantics - even old married ones like me, sitting on the edge of or seats as Bella (Kristen Stewart) takes her father Charlie's (Billy Burke) arm as he walks her slowly down the aisle towards her awaiting Groom - Edward (Robert Pattinson) grinning (see photo above) from ear to ear.

My thoughts turn as they normally do, when there's very little else going on; if you don't mind seeing photos of Rob going to and from the set of Cosmopolis day in and day out LOL, to the whole process of the love story. Even Elizabeth Reaser (Esme Cullen) has hinted at it being a very 'emotional moment' for the cast;

"Seeing Kristen walk down with aisle with [her movie dad] Billy Burke. I mean, seeing Billy Burke killed me. I understood in that moment what it's like to be a parent and seeing Kristen and see her really be nervous and see Rob really, really be nervous, and the two of them [together with] the families coming together; it was an emotional day for real."

Rob has said how emotional it was for him, Kristen has mentioned how emotional and surreal it was for her - Carlisle (Peter Facinelli) even Billy Burke has also lent his thoughts and feelings of that special day - all saying the same thing, all feeling the same emotion. Gee you think it had been an actual wedding they attended?
The Happy Bubble...
Is it because it's Edward and Bella getting married, or is it because it's Rob and Kristen playing Edward and Bella getting married, that has turned all us 'women' into complete lushes? I've never given much thought to Weddings in movies; simply seeing them as the conclusion to a sappy storyline like 'My Best Friends Wedding' of love found too late, or love found just in time in 'Made of Honor' to prove that a Wedding on a movie set, is pretty much like the main event itself. Rehearsals, dress rehearsals, fittings, more fittings and of course, a Stag and Hen party. If you can call Edward being taken away hunting by Emmett and Jasper and Bella getting her toenails painted by Alice, as the traditional way to spend your final night as a single person.
The Ring noticeably smaller as the Groom waits as the altar...

(and yes, Summit confirmed on the left hand side 'reserved for Bride's family and friends' are Stephenie Meyer, Wyck Godfrey and Melissa Rosenberg.)

Could it be that this blessed event has a more 'romantic' connection to it, simply because Rob and Kristen are a couple in real life? It certainly heightens the attention for the movies to come out and that can't be a bad thing, can it? After all, how many 'celebrity' couples take the plunge into married life on screen together? I can think a few memorable moments, but right now, only one springs to mind. And that's the married dysfunctional life of undercover assassins Mr Dick and Mrs Jane Smith (Mr & Mrs Smith) aka actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, which coincidently was another Summit movie and co-starred the darling Chris Weitz (Director of New Moon) in a cameo appearance as their nosy next door neighbour.

Of course, there are a some out there who see a similar connection between Rob and Kristen and movie mega stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, other than the name 'Summit Entertainment'. Due to the fact that both couples met on set, both couples were at the time with other partners (?) And both maintained an air of secrecy surrounding their relationship. With the exception that Angelina got pregnant to Brad, and that sort of let the cat or baby out of the bag.

How an article can be so wrong...
OK magazine's predictions...
When they want to be proven so right...

Setting aside the fact, that I'm not one for comparisons from one person or couple to another; OK magazine (rolls eyes at the thought) actually make some 'minor' points in their article...shocking i know.

True; Brad and Angie did try and deny they where a couple at the beginning, but i believe that was mainly due to the fact that Brad was married when he began working on Mr & Mrs Smith with Ms Jolie, then began a romance during all the rumours, suggestions and failure of that marriage. So you can imagine the strained level of 'keeping things private' at the time. The penchant for wearing leather dresses, well that's stretching it too far don't you think? Kristen and Angelina simply have good taste in clothing, going for more defined and edgy dress sense that's all. Caught kissing their other half in grainy private photos? Look, as much as you try and keep your private life private; sometimes it's inevitable that you will get caught, simple as that. The whole 'hunk becomes vampire'

bleh, not really into the whole 'first men of Hollywood are bloodsucking vampires' tag.

The only part of this 'Robsten are the new Brangelina' and you know how much i just LOVE labels (shudder) i can agree on - is the need to keep their private life private! Rob and Kristen do not encourage the media or allow it control their lives; they don't have a publicist organising nights out, where they will be photographed for 'promotional purposes'. Even though Brad and Angelina try and control the privacy around their children; you can't help feeling sometimes that they need the PR to help with their careers;

Whereas Rob and Kristen...don't.

PR is for the little people and an excuse haters use when they have nothing else left to argue;
"Oh they're just PR - fake - a showmance!"

*New Video from the lovely Fiorels - There's something about you!*

From a Wedding to MTV nominations - Sunday is going to be epic for Twilight fans. Now that the trio will be reunited to introduce the 'First Look at the trailer for Breaking Dawn Part One' after getting a teaser of the Wedding Day; let's hope the rest of the trailer will be just as exciting. Although, I'm a bit reserved at revealing any more of Bella's Wedding gown. I love the mystique of only showing glimpses of Bella as she approaches Edward, but please Summit - leave the rest of it's reveal until November, when we can all watch the blushing Bride in full effect.

Who is going to win Best Kiss?

For me there is no contest. I vote for the third year in a row - Rob and Kristen, but they have some tough competition this year. Including another nod for Taylor Lautner for his 'on a cliff top smooch with Bella when he finds out she's engaged to marry Edward - talk about pressurising someone into loving you?

There has also been some celebrities who have been asked by MTV 'who do they believe should win 'Best Lip Lock?'

"X-Men: First Class" actress Rose Byrne is leaning toward Team Edward when it comes to the kisses, even calling out Pattinson's fan-favorite nickname: "I think it will be RPattz."

Elle Fanning, whose sister Dakota stars in the "Twilight" flicks, concurred with Byrne, reasoning that Stewart's Bella is "marrying Edward, so you sort of have to pick Edward."

"X-Men" hottie Michael Fassbender might not know Edward from Jacob, but he did pick one of the actors over the other. "I'm just going to go with Robert," he said.
I have to admit; of all the kisses nominated, but not my first choice (I prefer the bedroom kiss, even though it's more of a make out session than anything else) *evil grin*

Rob and Kristen's is the one i want to win and so does Rob, so KEEP VOTING!
