Are you ready for the MTV Movie Awards 2011?

Rob and Kristen are ready...
Everyone is anticipating an Eclipse...come this Sunday, when all eyes will be on the MTV Movie Awards; blogging, tweeting and live-streaming, while fingers and toes are crossed for Rob, Kristen and the Twilight Saga gang to come away with some Golden Popcorn Statuettes.

For two years now, the Twilight Saga has won several awards; including of course 'Best Kiss' for Rob and Kristen. So what do we expect this year? Well, the fans have been voting with their fingers; as they click down the categories. Forgoing nominees such as Harry Potter and Black Swan, for all things Eclipse - hoping that for the third year in a row Twilight will take over MTV.
The seating for Sunday night...
Kind of like last year; the plus ones are normally reserved for management or close friends; who tag along for the show, Rob and Kristen raised a few eyebrows as they sat beside each other, leaving the seats to be filled in by Rob's management on one side and Kristen's close family friend along with Taylor Lautner on the other. Will the same thing happen this year - one can only hope.

Best Kiss;
2009...Saw Kristen tease Rob as she prepared to lean in for a smooch from her 'Best Kiss' partner. Unfortunately for Rob, Kristen decided to chicken out at the very last minute, thanking the audience and leaving him standing there gob-smacked, before giggling and ushering him to come with her off the stage.
2010...Saw Rob deciding after a fumble and fuddle of trying to 'stage kiss' for everyone; Kristen giggles and gives Rob the signal as he grabbed her and kissed her to a loud roar from the audience and massive fainting at home.

2011? All i can say to the fans of Rob and Kristen is keep voting, if you want them to win three years in a row. Rob has already hinted at liking the idea of taking the popcorn statue three years straight, there is a sense of pride and duty he must uphold - beating off the likes of kissing from Jacob and Bella and Harry and Hermione. So ladies if you want to vote for Rob putting his lips of Kristen - you know what you have to do...VOTE

Best female Performance;
2009...Saw Kristen walk up to receive 'Best Female performance'. As she picked up the award after thanking the fans, her cast and of course Summit and Catherine Hardwicke; Kristen's Popcorn statue slipped out of her hand, bouncing on the floor after Kristen failed to keep hold of it. Anyone else would have most likely rang screaming with embarrassment of the stage - but oh no, Kristen gallantly went back to the podium announcing to everyone how uncoordinated she was, as Rob looked on giggling nervously for her, pinching his own wrist with nervous apprehension (poor fella) as Kristen finally left the stage.
2010...Saw Kristen successfully win again and this time around after receiving her award, Kristen carefully placed it on the stage before thanking the fans and those that voted for her to win again. Rob looked on with pride as Kristen thanked the usual suspects; with love and an abundance of happiness, clapping and grinning from ear to ear.
2011? Once again, i can only hope that Kristen will win again. She is up against some pretty good nominations this time around; Emma Watson, Natalie Portman and Emma Stone, but i have every faith the Twilight and Kristen Stewart fans, will want her to win it once more. So here we go with a little feeling ...VOTE

Best Male Performance;
2009...Saw Rob pick up the 'Breakthrough Performance' (Male) for his acting abilities in 'Twilight' after already winning a joint Popcorn Statue with Cam Gigandet for 'Best Fight'. Unfortunately, i don't have a funny gif sequence to show you, but i do have Kristen's reaction, after he announced there was a little 'something running down the back of his pants' she looked embarrassingly shocked along with Rob's agent Stephanie, as they sat together laughing.
2010...With Rob's voice cracking with nervousness and emotion, after winning not only 'Best Male Performance' but also 'Global Superstar'. Thanking his parents for 'creating him', Catherine Hardwicke because he 'owed her so much' Rob took a deep breath and after drumming his awards with his hands, he looks in Kristen's direction and finally thanks her for being the 'Linchpin' of the whole series. A touching acknowledgement not only for Kristen as an actress, but marked her as very important part of the whole 'Twilight' franchise. A nod of 'thanks' at award ceremonies, is usually reserved for Management, Studios, nods towards the cast and loved ones. He'd already thanked the two people who brought him into the world, so why not the one who he shares so much of his life with?

Kristen's face is priceless. Not one to accept someone praising her because she finds it embarrassing; Kristen rolled her eyes in her usual 'I can't believe you've just done that way' but we all know deep down inside, she was pretty pleased he did.

2011? As far as i am concerned, third time is the charm. Rob has been in the forefront of a lot of movies since 2009, as well as continuing his successful role as Edward Cullen. Although to be fair, once more he's up against some tough contenders - including his sparring cast mate Taylor Lautner as the love challenging Jacob Black, there is also his old cast member Daniel Radcliffe, who is in the nomination list this year for Harry Potter. If you want to see Rob take the Male Performance award this year again, then you know just what to do...VOTE

*Incidentally; Xavier Samuels is up for 'Best Breakout Star' I hope you have remembered him? If not there's still time left to VOTE
Also; Rob, Bryce Dallas-Howard and Xavier Samuels are also up for 'Best Fight'. Again, you know what to do...VOTE *

Best Movie;
Despite the really good movies that have been lined up this year - both 2009 and 2010, 'The Twilight Saga - Twilight and New Moon' picked up the Golden Popcorn for 'Best Movie'

2011? Is another year when Eclipse is up against the likes of Black Swan, Harry Potter, Inception and Social Network. Fine contenders i have to admit, so does Eclipse stand a chance of winning?
Twilight...
New Moon...
Eclipse...
The Twilight Saga is at the end of the day, an ultimate love story. If you forgo the fact that there are vampires and werewolves running around each other in circles, and get down to the very basics. When you compare it to the others up for Best Movie; fearless Wizards, dark Ballet and bad dreams OH MY! It's easy to see that for two years; the love story between mortal Bella Swan and immortal Edward Cullen has been the stuff of teenage fantasy dreams - hence it's success. Top the fact, that the romance has spilled over into real life and a lot of the powerful emotions we see Edward and Bella experiencing, seems more life-like than just two actors playing convincing parts. That and the old heart does love a good love story. Especially one that has a happy ending, if you forgo a Wedding, a jealous best friend, a strange circumstance involving a pregnancy test kit. Oh, and being turned into a vampire yourself with other vamps not very happy about you bringing a half human - half vampire into the world. It's pretty much your every day Mills and Boons romance LOL

So if you want the cast of Eclipse; including Rob and Kristen to win this years 'Best Movie' award...do i really need to tell you what to do? VOTE

Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed for Sunday night. We will of course be treated to the EXCLUSIVE first trailer of Breaking Dawn - Part One;
Bella and Edward finally on Honeymoon...
We've already been temped with a sneak peak at the Wedding; as handsome Edward stands waiting patiently for his Bride - Bella, so anything else really is just the icing on top of the Wedding cake (get it?)

Rob and Kristen will be there, along with their good buddy Taylor and most likely some of the cast; hoping to climb up the steps to the stage and thank the fans once more. Let's hope it's a good night for everyone including the fans. Rob certainly will be spending some quality time hopefully celebrating. Word has spread via a well placed tweet from the Cosmopolis set, that he's not due back until Tuesday. As good a time as any to catch up with everything, head back to LA with the woman in his life and faithful puppy dog Bear, happily in tow.
